GH has had several weddings and non weddings over the years that have left the fans speechless, made us tear up or just made us shake our heads and say what the hell were they thinking.

One wedding in particular was the wedding of Alan Quartermaine to  Lucy Coe , the bride wore red lol, yes you read that correctly red lol. That wedding was the funniest gh had since  Sean Donnely married Tiffany Hill and found  out her name was actually Elsie Mae Crumholtz

Cue Sean in fits of giggles, as well as many of the guests, and the fans, but Lila , and  Tiffy's family weren't laughing lol

The most famous GH wedding of all time was Luke and Laura's and it brought in 30 million viewers in 1981. It was a memorable time for those of us who were knee high to a grasshopper and we thought Laura was stunning.

Some weddings have gone without some drama , others well , they just couldn't be drama filled if it weren't for , Kat Howard getting shot by Anthony Zacchara or Maxie and Lulu getting kidnapped by Levi and his cronie on their wedding day.

In 2008 Robin Scorpio's first wedding to Patrick Drake was interrupted not by a jealous ex but by the impending arrival fo their baby girl

In 2011  Sonny Corinthos married Brenda Barrett the wedding went off with out a hitch , but the bride got kidnapped and the limo blew up causing Sam Morgan to go temporarily deaf.

And not to mention there have been gun shots, with the bride getting shot , and of course the occasional wife rising from the supposide dead to dampen the beautiful day.

Sabrina was visibly upset when that happened to her, I mean really, you meet, fall in love with  Dr Hottie, and then get engaged and on the wedding day, you are happy, but that quickly changed when  the mrs turns up alive how the hell can you get past that, when you know deep down he'll choose her every single time.

Not to mention the couples that have unconventional ones like Jason and Sam, the bride and groom wore black and got married at a chinese food restaurant, but that was only after  Maxie was doing  Sam's head in and she needed an escape to clear her head.

Thanks to the lovely people at the Naked Budha they had a memorable day. Carly  attempted to marry Franco but he said " Hell no" after he found out not only had Carly cheated on him with Sonny lol, ummm come on really you have to expect that , its just what they freaking do.

As for Carly and Sonny lol, well they've been up the aisle 4 times, in between each they married other people and finally have come back together  to get married a 5th time.

And what about Liz and Jason's wedding I suspect that one won't take placve , cause once he realizes who he really is, and that Liz lied to him the party for two is going to be Liz pity party  table of one.

That pandora box will be well and truly dropped kicked open , and  fingers crossed that any future weddings don't get that much drama LOL.

Who am I kidding this is GH after all lol
