The Port Charles Court house is one place you don't want to visit its full of drama with family custody hearings, murder trials, and for people to pull out a gun and shoot someone in open court.

It was in 1998 that Carly Benson sat in the courtroom and was left fuming when Tony Jones had been found not guilty for having kidnapping Michael. An understandibly angry Carly grabbed Detective Taggert's gun and shot Tony in the open court room.

She wound up in jail for that incident and a trip to Shadybrook as well.

Sonny and Jason have been brought to court on more than one occasion , whenever the cops thing they can pin something on them. These two just wind out wriggling out of it cause nothing illegal has yet to be proven.

Sam testified in court against Jason in 2008 , Carly testified on behalf of Sonny and brought little Joss to court , hoping that the jury would see the cute little munchkin and not be too hard on her for whatever she had to say.

Carly even went as far as winking at Sonny when she thought she had won them over.

Michael wound up in court in 2010 racked with guilt over the fact that he had killed his step mother Claudia and this event was hard enough on the poor lad because his adopted father Sonny was taking the wrap for him.

Dante was angry with Sonny as was Lulu because Carly and Sonny would not allow their son to own up to what he did , and Michael wound up confessing all in the courtroom.

Recently the courthouse was the place where  Franco and Nina Clay were released from the mental hospital, and where Sonny lost custody of little Avery.

What's next for the GH residents, lets hope its people being arrested for not tellign Sam Morgan her husband is in fact alive and preventing him from returning home to his family and friends
