Port Charles New York Summer 2016
Carly stood behind the bar at the Metro Court, sipping on a cup of coffee, lost in thought , and she said to herself " God damn it how long does it take for Lulu to get her ass here?"
Just as she reached for her cell phone Lulu arrived with Bobbie not too far behind her.
" Carly I'm sorry I'm late Rocco was playing up this morning and I had to take him to daycare, you know how it is when you got a head strong kid, you've had three of them!"
" Well, you're here now, that's all that matters" She looked at her mother and said " Hey Mom lets grab a seat so we can talk"
Bobbie nodded her head and as they sat down she eyed Carly suspiciously " Alright Carly what is so important that you had to drag us here at 9 am"
" Mom, you know how we heard about Grandma Lena and we don't know much about her family, well I was thinking I'd like to see if we can find other relatives"
" Why would you want to do that for Carly?" Lulu said with a groan.
" Because , with all the talk about family history, with our grandparents and what your dad went through, we need to discover more of who we are?"
Just as she said this Lulu got a phone call from Luke " Let me put him on speaker phone, maybe he should hear what you want to know"
Carly nodded her head and they could hear Luke shouting " Hello family, what's going on , I'm in Ireland with Lucky, I'm having a hell of a good time I might add"
Carly laughed " What have you been up too ? How's Lucky? And what trouble have you gotten yourself into this time?"
Luke laughed " I could ask you the same question darlin' you are always up to something?"
" Luke seriously will you behave , Carly wants to ask you something so for one minute could you stop acting like she's up to no good"
" Ask away, well spit it out, this silence from you Caroline is deafening"
" Uncle Luke here's the thing I was thinking about our family and what other members we could have, do you know anything about Grandma Lena's mama's side of the family?"
" Umm I heard something , now if I remember correctly they were the Mitchells, and from what I heard they were from the East End of London, in a little borough just like Port Charles is, they own a pub called the Queen Vic"
Carly got up from the table and grabbed her laptop and looked it up. " I found it" she said with an excited tone in her voice.
" The current owners are the Carters, not the Mitchell's though" Luke laughed " Well baby this is where it gets complicated, we are also related to the Carter's your third cousin was Stan Carter he was married to Sylvie and she was a Spencer"
Carly started to write all of this down and she thought oh my god this is insane, so you're telling me my cousins own the pub and the cousins before that owned it too, but different sides of the family all together?"
" Yes as odd as it is , its true! I don't know if there is bad blood between the two of em but I'm sure you can dig that up with Spinelli's help"
Carly and Lulu exchanged glances Carly called Spinelli put him on speaker phone and he was glad for some family digging for his friends.
" Yes Carly I will certainly look that up, now where are they from and give me some names?"
Carly laughed " Some god forsaken little borough of London called Walford, east London, the names you need to look up are Mitchell and Carter.
Spinelli looked up the surnames and said " Oooh Oooh it seems these Mitchell's are a rowdy bunch " He nervously giggles and said " They remind me of the Spencers and Corinthos clans.
Bobbie's eyes lit up and said " Tell us more Spinelli"
Well it seems Phil Mitchell has been in and out of prison, and his boy Ben went to prison for killing someone , much like you're young mister sir Michael did"
They all gasped and then Spinelli said " Quite the colourful bunch I might add, your cousin Archie was murdered by Stacey Slater, he was a nefarious sounding dude threw his wife and family out of the pub, but that Stacey she did them a favour"
Luke spoke up and said " What else did you find? Cut to the chase will ya Spinelli?"
" Well, it seems to the Carter side, Shirley had her son Mick young, and had three other kids, but Dean is a bad apple he's beaten up old people, attacked women, I'm not going to judge him father of the blond one, but I think this is shocking a lot of what I am reading here , kind of mirrors your family's life, they say everyone is connected some how but your family seems to repeat the cycle"
" And the penny drops, yes I can totally see that we aren't all squeaky clean, we've been through the same experiences in life, I damn well think we need to contact our family"
Spinelli sighed " Yes I concur , I also found out that Phil Mitchell's father used to beat them up on a regular basis, its sad isn't it, how mean drunks can hurt those that they love"
Luke silently agreed with him and then said " Do you have an email address for any of them ?"
" Yes I found Roxy Mitchell's , it seems she and her sister own R&R night club RoxyMitchell@hotmail.co.uk"
" Thanks Spinelli! I'll email her right away "
Carly then got off the phone with him and immediately emailed this Roxy, she was nervous but she decided to give it a shot.

Roxy Mitchell stood behind the stall in the market serving up food to the customers at the Masood's stall when she heard her email go off on her cell phone.
" Carly Corinthos? Who the flaming hell is she when she's at home?" Roxy wondered , curiosity got the better of her so she clicked on the email to read it

Roxy couldn't believe what she was reading and when she spotted her sister Ronnie walking by and said " Oy Ronnie come here! I got to talk to you about something"
Ronnie turned and looked at Roxy and said " Don't you oy me, what do you want anyway , I'm off to get Matthew from the sitter"
" I know I have to go pick up Amy at her mates place as well, but I have to tell you something"
" What is it now Roxy? Did you get yourself another fella?" Ronnie said rolling her eyes,
She knew anytime Roxy was giving it large, something either had to be thrilling her to bits or she was just being a huge pain in her ass.
" If you must know Veronica , it ain't got nothing to do with my latest fella!" Roxy said with annoyance in her voice.
Ronnie eyed her and said " Alright Rox, why don't you spit it out and tell me what the big excitement is already"
" I got this email from a lady saying she's our relative? Here let me show you the email"
Roxy handed her the phone and Ronnie read it, " Well that's a turn up for the books isn't it? "
" What the hell are you banging on about now Ronnie?"
" Roxy , didn't you ever listen to dad when we were kids, he used to talk about some cousin of his in the USA who was always on some adventure or another, his name is Luke Spencer and this Carly woman is our cousin"
" Are you having a laugh? Seriously "
" Yes Roxy , I'm being serious Luke from what our dad told us got in some pretty bad scrapes, and his father disappeared some years ago when he was young! They never knew what happened to Tim, but Lena died shortly before he did a runner on the kids, at least that's what we've been told"
" What the hell, you have got to be taking the mick, why the hell would anyone run off on their kids, who am I kidding our mother did the same bloody thing"

Yes its true we are cousins , our great grandmother Isabelle was your great grandmother's cousin, and from what I understand Lena's mother had moved to the USA before Lena and Bill were born"
Roxy typed it out, and then said " Now what do you want me to say?"
" Ask her where in the USA she is , our cousins lived in Port Charles NY, and I'm pretty sure if the information is right then we have found our cousins?"
Roxy typed it out and then said " I want to show them a picture of us, is that okay with you?"
" Yea why not its not going to hurt anyone , and find one of us with Phil, Grant, Lola, Sam, Aunt Peggy , Ben, Jay, Amy Matthew and Lexi"
Roxy did as she was told and said " Here is a picture of our lot , I'm the blond with the curly hair and tattoo on my shoulder"
Phil just happened by when this was going on " Typical that is two women just gassing about nothing important, don't you two got somewhere you need to be?"
Roxy eyed him " Oh shut it Phil, I got an email from a woman saying she's our cousin, and I'm sending her an email"
" Rox, are you thick? She might be trying to scam you or something?"
Ronnie shook her head " Phil if she was scamming us then how come she knew about us Mitchell's she said her great grandmother was our great grandmother's cousin and to top it all off she says she's from Port Charles NY does that ring a bell with you?"
" Flaming hell Roxy, let me get a butcher's of that email , You say her uncle's name is Luke and her Mother is Bobbie ?"
" Yea that's what she says?" " My dad used to bang on about his cousin Lena all the time, now they used to come visit when Lena was a kid and her brother too! I think his name was Bill, Lena married some Tim Spencer bloke and he was as rotten as your dad and mine were! Gran used to get letters from her cousin saying that poor Lena was in a state again cause Tim was beating the kids and her and she didn't know what to do about it"
Ronnie nodded her head and said " Yea I heard that too Phil" Phil rubbed his bald head and said , " You send that email to her send that picture you're sending and ask her for one of her lot"
She then said in the email Would love to see a pictture of your family and hope to hear from you soon Roxy

Roxy obeyed him and then she spotted Masood coming to collect the day's takings for the food.
He smiled at her and said " Rox was it a good day today?" " You have got to be kidding Mas with that wad of cash lol, I'd say you got a very good taking" Phil said with a laugh.
Mas smiled " Yea I reckon so, here Rox, here's your share of the money" Talk to you tomorrow" he said handing her the money
" Yes sounds good to me,see you tomrrow Mas Roxy said taking off her apron and said " See ya Phil Ronnie and I have got to go"
When Roxy and Ronnie went to get the kids from their friends and sitters they were excited to say the least at the prospect of meeting more family.
It blew their minds that they were able to contact Carly so fast ,only they had to wait and see what was going to happen next.
In Port Charles Carly was just sitting down at Kelly's having her lunch with Sonny when she got the email , that would prove an eye opener.
" Oh my god, I can't believe it, I heard back from Roxy so fast"
" Roxy, who the hell is Roxy Carly? " Sonny said with annoyance in his voice
" She is my Uk cousin, can you believe it , Luke was telling us all about our relatives, and I want to get to know more family, ever since we found Patricia and Valerie I felt like we should find more of out there"
" Oh my god you have got to be kidding me, more Spencer women to contend with? "
" And what the hell is so wrong with that? You love me don't you Sonny?"
" Yea I do, but I think there would be too much woman power to deal with, if they are as feisty as you are, Port Charles would definitely its handful"

Carly showed him the picture of the family and Luke said " Nice looking bunch , that Phil kind of reminds me of Luke , and that Roxy , she's hot I can see a family resemblance for sure"
Carly laughed and said " Yea me too, they look like trouble, especially the little girl with the baby, she reminds me of Lulu at that age"
Sonny laughed and said " Yea , I can see it too" Carly smiled and wrote back to Roxy

Sonny eyed Carly and said ," What are you going to say if you meet this chick on skype anything interesting?"
Carly laughed " I think it will just be family talk to figure out whose who and what's what, that kind of thing"
Sonny eyed the picture again and said " That other blond the one beside Roxy who the hell is she? She looks so sad and yet something dangerous in her eyes, I wouldn't want to mess with her"
Carly looked at him side ways, " In a way I think she is probably a lot like me, unpredictable , and impulsive you just never know what you are going to get with a Mitchell women and I mean any Mitchell woman"
Sonny then called Dante and said " Do me a favour son , call the Walford east London Police station and find out everything you can about Phil Mitchell"
" Why what's up Sonny?"
" Just do as I ask Dante, he's supposed to be related to Carly, but I want to know everything I can about him because I don't want Carly or the kids getting into a heap of trouble"
" You got it Sonny, Phil Mitchell , Walford east london police station"
" Good thanks son , I appreciate it"
Sonny hung up the phone and said " Done, now you have to sit tight till we know all we can about Phil and his crazy family"
Only thing left to do was wait and see what the next step was going to be and whatever that was going to be , Carly and Roxy both were walking on egg shells excited about the journey they were both on.
Both head strong gorgeous women with a yearning to know more about their families , yet both of them were as different as could be in some aspects of their lives.
Fate sometimes takes you by the hand and guides you towards those you thought you'd never meet our two blond bombshells were about to meet the one person, whose life mirrored her own and yet were so different.

Walford East London
It was 8 pm UK time by the time Roxy and Ronnie even had a chance to breath and take a break from their kids.
They'd fed them bathed them and put them to bed and promptly afterwards had a glass of merlot to unwind.
" Roxy have you checked your phone yet? You have to see if you've heard from Carly"
"No I ain't done that yet , I haven't had time have I ? Between dealing with you , and the kids , and Dean constantly ringing me I ain't had a chance to breathe"
Ronnie eyed her scrunched up her mouth and then said " Yea Rox sorry, I'm just anxious I suppose to find out what Carly has to say"
" You and me both Ron, its nice to know we are on the same wave length but then again ain't we always?"
Ronnie sipped her wine and nodded her head " Yea for the most part anyways we are, especially about this"
Roxy picked up her phone and clicked on her email and found Carly's reply said " Okay here's what she said "

Roxy looked at the pictures and said to Ronnie " Flaming hell, that Sonny , he looks dark and dangerous"
" Watch it Rox , you're drooling, from the looks of her I don't think Carly would want you hitting on her man"
Roxy laughed " I wouldn't even dream of it, seriously he's thousands of miles away for pity's sake"
Ronnie eyed her , " Yea well if we ever meet them, just be on your guard sunshine, I know what its like when you flirt with my men, imagine what she'd do to you and all"
Roxy laughed " Yea well , I don't think I'd want to go there anyways I learned my lesson besides I have Dean now and that's good enough for me"
Roxy continued reading the email and said " Oh my god she asked about Shirley , she'd related to her and all?"
" You have got to be joking? Seriously I don't know if Phil is going to take kindly to finding that out" Ronnie said with a shocked tone in her voice.
Just as she said this Phil walked through the door " Oy you two, I just asked one of my contacts to find out about Carly and her husband apparently he's some mob boss geezer that you don't want to mess with "
He showed them the articles about Sonny that were on the internet and he said " I ain't fooling around here, I know we are as tough as they come, but this one 'ere looks like he could cause some trouble if we cross him"
Roxy and Ronnie gasped and then Phil laughed " No you two , its alright I think I might like him, he's a man after my own heart, protects his family at all costs like I do"
They all decided that the best way to approach the subject is not to let Carly know that they knew about Sonny and his business.
But little did they know that over in Port Charles Dante had obtained the information his father was looking for.
" Sonny , I found out that Phil is like you, he's involved in some businesses, cut and shut cars, he's been to prison, and he's one of those guys, you don't want to mess with"
Sonny laughed " Ah just a small time crook, I like it"
He said with a smile , his dimples were showing and he thought it was hilarious that Phil was just like him.
Dante was of course mortified " Dad, you have got to be kidding me, says here he's been arrested for assault and a bunch of other things"
" Dante don't worry about it we can handle it, I like the sounds of him already he and I might do some business together if the mood hits us"
Dante shook his head " Are you insane , I wouldn't want to hear about you getting yourself into a heap of trouble across the pond let alone here"
" Yeah I'm sure Dante don't worry about it, Jason has it covered, I already spoke to him and he's thinking maybe it would be a good idea, to just let Carly and Roxy do what they want and then we'll deal with Phil as if we don't known anything, if he brings it up fine but I need to know what else did you find out?"
" I found out that Ben Phil's son was incarcerated for murder of Heather Trott he got manslaughter, just like Michael did, I can't believe this is happening it seems both sides have had some pretty shocking stuff happen"
" Yea I know but lets just keep it to ourselves , don't rock the boat ya know what I'm saying!"
Dante nodded his head and said " Yea I get it , just between us, I will not tell Lulu"
Back in Walford Roxy and Ronnie wrote their email to Carly

Carly shook her head opened the email and said " Okay you two here is a picture of our cousin Billy and his kids
" Foxy Roxy huh? She's got that one right, I tell you?" Morgan said with a cheeky grin.
" Oh for god sake Morgan do you have to act like such a pervert, what would Kiki say? Haven't you learned your lesson from being around Ava?" Michael said with annoyance in his voice.

Josslyn who had come in from playing outside with Spencer heard the argument " Oh Morgan why don't you shut it, you're always causing drama with everyone, you're as bad as mom sometimes"

Sonny walked into the living room, " What the hell is going on, I can hear you from the kitchen, I'm getting a nice family meal together and all you are doing is arguing"

Carly eyed the boys, okay you two keep it quiet, and lets have a nice family meal without arguing"

Sonny eyed her " Hey I saw that , behave yourself kiddo"
They ate their dinner in silence and then Carly wrote her email to Roxy
" Hey Roxy ,
How about we do it this Sunday , its our down time, so I'm definitely game for that"
How about 5 pm your time, I can get the family together and we can all have a good chat

Roxy wrote back straight away ,
Hey Carly
I can handle that, I'll have Shirley here and all so you can meet her and Dean.
Until then cousin dear talk to you soon

Carly smiled when she read the email once she got it and said to her family
" It looks like we are about to meet our cousins Skype on Sunday, everyone needs to be here"
Michael smiled " Sounds good to me, I'll call Dante and Lulu"
" Yea you do that Michael " Sonny said with a smile
Carly quickly wrote back to Roxy and said " its a date"
Meanwhile , over in Walford Roxy knocked on Shirley's door and let herself in.
Poking her head in the door she said " Shirley I have news for you, you and I are related by marriage"
" You what you have got to be flaming kidding me Rox?"
" Yes I know its odd ain't it, apparently you are related to Luke Spencer from Port Charles NY same as me and Ronnie"
" Luke Spencer, oh bloody hell, I know of that one, he's as bad as they come that one, I hear he's been in all sorts of trouble, I don't need that kind of trouble at my door, well maybe I'd invite it in, I love a bit of trouble I live for it"
Roxy laughed " Well hold on tight Shirl cause you are about to meet the rest of the Spencers, 5pm Sunday bring Dean and Jade alright"
" Yes , I sure will," She heard Jade shout " Grandma" from upstairs and said listen I better get moving sounds like she needs me"
Roxy nodded her head and said " Just be there on time and we can have some supper together"
" Sounds good to me"
Back in Port Charles Michael had called Lulu who was ecstatic about meeting Roxy and the rest on Skype
" Seriously Michael, I can't wait , I was a bit skeptical at first , but I've changed my mind"
" Yea it is kind of weird isn't it, family we never even knew exsisted and now we are about to meet them"
It was Friday night only two nights to go and both family's were as excited as each other.
It would be a fun thing to do and for them to see what each was like, was just the beginning of an extended family that thought they'd never meet.
