General Hospital fans have loads of memories that begin and end with the legacy characters of the show.

They are the types of characters that have with stood the tests of time, made their marks in Port Charles be it in a good way or not.

Most of all we've seen them through their good times, cheered for them when they went up against their enemy and won and our hearts broke for them when something aweful happend to them, like the death of their child.

The men make the womene swoon with delight, and the women well they make us feel empowered when we see them kick the ass of their enemy along side their men that is why  Frisco and Felicia, Anna and Robert and Luke and Laura have been deemed the super couples of the show because they have faught together and stood together as one.

With Lila Quartermaine, it was the kind word she would say to people that made her one of the legacy characters that the fans have taken into their hearts. Her daughter Tracey on the other hand , absolutely brilliant , sharp tongued, sharp witted, she's not fool except when she's got the wrong end of the stick with whatever is going on in her life.

For Monica and Alan, Tony, Bobbie and Noah they are the medical staff that held our attention in the 70's to the 2000's who made us love their bed side manner. Mind you Noah always had a cheeky grin and flirted with the nurses, a trait that was passed onto his son.

Scott and Heather, Faison , Obrecht and  Stavros Casasadine bring their evil A game to the screen to both annoy and delight us, we laugh at their lunacy and we boo when they are going up against someone we love. But its the little things like them putting the enemy in their place that makes the fans love them even more.

Julian and Alexis are the smart, couple with a lot of good intentions , but they sometimes fall short on things when it comes to each other, but I guess that's why Julexis fans love them so much.

Without them the show would be pretty boring, they've become the wise old owls that once were wet behind the ears like their kids, but they've got that sparkle in their eyes still, the devilish adventuress side that makes us begging for more and that's why the fans will never forget the matriarchs and Patriarchs of General Hospital's most recognizable family's
