People expect you to live up to the legend that your parents are, but they have to see that you are your own person, with your own thoughts , your own feelings, wanting to make your own mark in the world.

For the likes of Robin Scorpio she went the medical route instead of being a super spy like her very cool under pressure parents, Jason Morgan became a mob enforcer instead of going the medical route. His brother AJ wound up working at ELQ with his aunt Tracey and made a total debacle of it before he died at the hands of Ava Jerome.

Britt Westbourne  is a doctor like her mother Liesel. Britt like her mother and her father Faison are schemers who alwayts want to get their own way no matter who they have to hurt along the way.

Britt never felt like she was loved by her parents , it wasn't until she met  Nikolas and Spencer Cassadine that she realized what a happy life could be until she did the unthinkable and stole Lulu's embryo and had her baby. She also made the huge mistake of trying to get back with Nikolas when she cooked up a scheme where Spencer ran away from home leaving  Nikolas heart sick and worried and he felt he couldn't forgive her when the truth came out.

Lulu has chosen the path of being a club owner like her father Luke and she has a mixture of both parents awesome personality traits. while her brother Lucky is unlike Luke is so many ways as he takes after his mother. Lucky is a police officer while his brother Ethan is a drifter, and bartender like their daddy Luke.

Maxie unlike her mother has become a fashion guru of sorts , unlike her mother who has strived to become the mayor of Port Charles.

Franco is a little bit cray cray but that's the way we like him. He and his mum are so much alike because they are both off their rockers and in a good way. But Franco is trying to be a good person without letting the shadow of his even crazier mother loom over him like a waking nightmare.

Carly tried and failed at being a nurse simply because she got caught cheating on an exam. Not a good way to go about things, but  she found her niche owning the  Metrocourt hotel,

With that being said again I have to stress, that when a child lives in their perfect parents shadow they try their best to live up to what their parents want them to be.

We watched most of them grow up on screen, and watch them  turn into the person they have become, but they don't have emmulate their parents and fill their parents shoes to get noticed.

They've made their own mark in the world and they have proven they are every bit as smart, strong, and feisty as their parents and with that being said we can honestly say that being a fan of the children of the legacy characters is a joy, but it also can be a blessing and sometimes a cure for them.

But what ever the future holds for them , we will be watching all the way.
