The Ashford-Butler Clan has been around Port Charles since 2010 starting with Sean when he was working for the Balkin. He helped Molly through her PTSD and eventually got befriended by Jason and wound up working for the Corinthos Organization.

Then TJ showed up in town when Jordan asked Sean to take him him , seems she was having trouble with him and his misbehaving, but the underlying factor was she was working undercover for the DEA.

Jordan had to put up the facade of being a bad mum with a drug problem lol, you'd think the truth would have been better than the lie, but as it turned out , when she came to Port Charles and planted her feet to be near her son he'd actually want to have a relationship with her.

He was not comfortable around her cause she worked for the Jeromes , Jordan had a hit on her instructed by Duke, but he later tried to put a stop to it, but Bruce ended up dead when he tried to kill her.

And then it came to a head when Jordan and Sean were near Extreme Motors, Sean was there to kill Jason, but he had no idea he was Jason lol. Then  Hayden got shot and Jordan made it clear sher was a cop and Sean got arrested. He was later brought to court and sent to prison for shooting  Hayden, an act he did not commit, although no one knows it was Nikolas Cassadine who had put out the hit on her.

Poor TJ was angry with his mama when he found out she was actually a cop who arrested Sean he was none to pleased.

I can't say I blame the kid, all of that time she kept that little tid bit of information from him what did she expect ? Now Sean has gone to jail and TJ has no idea that he's his dad.

Now Jordan has become the Police Commissioner and her future is looking even brighter.
